Medical / Surgical
As a patient in Landmark’s Medical/Surgical Unit, you’ll discover that our nurses know just how to combine their professional skills with a gentle, reassuring approach. Although our nurses manage highly technical and complex care situations, it’s often the nurse's kind word, friendly smile, or silent presence that makes a real difference.
In our Medical/Surgical units, we serve patients who are hospitalized to receive medicines and treatments or who are staying for recovery from surgical procedures. Each unit, commonly referred to as First East, First West, or First Right, has assigned staff trained in a particular specialty, such as orthopedics, oncology, or general medical/surgical diagnoses.
