ABOUT LABORATORY SERVICES:
Landmark Medical Center’s Department of Laboratory Services is
certified by the College of American Pathologists, Clinical
Laboratory Amendments, and the Joint Commission.
- All laboratory technologists are licensed by the State of
Rhode Island.
- The majority of testing is performed on-site at Landmark
Medical Center’s Woonsocket Unit.
- STATS are available within one hour. Routine results are
available within two to three hours.
- Special tests are performed at a reference lab. The majority
of these results are available within 24 to 48 hours.
- Landmark Medical Center’s Laboratory offers physicians the
use of a computer portal system. This allows the ordering doctor
the ability to see and print out his/her patient’s results
immediately once testing is complete.
