The Medical Library at Landmark Medical Center
At the Lee Health Sciences Library, our mission is to assist in
the delivery of health care by providing health information for
staff physicians and employees.
The library also provides services to patients and their
families. The Community Health Resource Center, located off the main
lobby, features numerous health brochures, pamphlets, newsletters,
and reference books for the lay person. The hospital librarian is
available for assistance.
Our resources include books, journals, and online databases that
encompass subject areas in medicine, nursing, allied health and
related subjects. Book and journal holdings are listed in the Higher
Education Library Information Network (HELIN) and can be located
online at http://library.uri.edu.
The following services are provided:
- Answers to reference questions
- Article and book requests
- Literature searches
- Access to online databases
- Internet access
The librarian is available Monday - Thursday from 8:30a.m. -
