Established in 2005, the Northern Rhode Island Hematology/Oncology Program is part of our Circle of Excellence for cancer care. The program provides state-of-the-art cancer treatment for adults.
Using a multidisciplinary approach, our team of caregivers, including a medical oncologist, oncology-certified nurses, a research coordinator, and staff all work together in order to best coordinate patient care. We also work closely with staff at the Southern New England Regional Cancer Center, which provides radiation therapy services adjacent to our offices, as well as the team of Landmark-affiliated physicians and surgeons.
We pride ourselves on our core values of caring, compassion, quality, professionalism, and innovation. To schedule an appointment or to learn more about our program, please call (401) 767-1541.
At the Northern Rhode Island Hematology/Oncology Program, we proudly provide:
Health Education and Counseling
At the Northern Rhode Island Hematology/Oncology Program, our oncology-certified nurses are available to provide individualized education for patients and family members about cancer treatments and successful management of side effects. Based on individual circumstances, our social workers can help arrange for special services, such as transportation to and from appointments.
Practice Hours
Patients are seen by appointment only, Monday through Friday. We are closed on weekends and holidays. If you need to reach a physician for urgent reasons, on-call coverage is provided 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Patients are encouraged to call the office with medical questions. Trained staff will answer many of your questions, or they may relay your information to the doctor, who will return your call as soon as possible.
