FREE Mammography and Breast Cancer Screening Clinic

In recognition of National Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Landmark Medical Center is offering a FREE Mammography and Breast Cancer Screening Clinic on Saturday, October 25, 2008, starting at 8:30 a.m. at Landmark's Outpatient Oncology Center, 115 Cass Avenue, Suite 2, Woonsocket.

In order to be eligible for this two-part program, participants must first register for a mammogram at Landmark Medical Center by October 14 AND attend the clinic on October 25. Free mammograms are offered by appointment only. On the day of the clinic, the screening consists of a breast examination and consultation with a physician. During this time, participants will also have their mammograms reviewed. Educational literature and pamphlets on breast cancer and the importance of early detection will be available to all attendees.

Please note: Screenings are intended for women who do not have a primary physician or have not had a mammogram within the past 12 months.
