Dr. Timothy Hart to speak at Landmark Heart Center

Podiatrist Timothy Hart, D.P.M. will be the guest speaker at the Landmark Heart Center's monthly diabetes support group meeting to be held on Tuesday, Sept.16, 2008 from 10 - 11 a.m.

Dr. Hart will be speaking about the special foot-care needs of diabetics. The program is open to the public at no cost. Please call the Heart Center at (401) 769-9355 for more information or to register.

The Heart Center, which is recognized by the American Diabetes Association for excellence in diabetes education, is located at 186 Cass Avenue, Woonsocket, directly across from Landmark Medical Center. The staff is dedicated to preventing disease through exercise and education under supervision by specialists. Programs offered by the Heart Center include cardiac rehabilitation and maintenance, diabetes education and support group, and fitness programs for all ages and ability levels. Dr. Hart, a board-certified foot/ankle and wound care specialist, recently moved his Woonsocket office to Adult Primary Care Medicine, 176 Cass Avenue (next to the Heart Center). He also continues to see patients at his Oakland office, 1376 Broncos Highway.
